I’m still here, you just can’t see me – New trailer for ‘Antman’

With the second coming of the Avengers, adding more and more heroes to their ranks, the Deadpool movie growing with popularity by the minute, and DC fighting back with Jared Leto’s Joker and the ever-growing members of the Suicide Squad, Batfleck and the DC Trinity uniting for the first time, and rumors of the LEGO Movie directors helming the Flash movie, a certain stone in Marvel’s slate has been left unturned for a while now.

That slot belongs to Scott Lang a.k.a Antman (it wasn’t his idea), a thief who with Prof Hank Pym’s technology will battle enemies while reduced to the size of, well, an ant. (isn’t that obvious?)The folks at Marvel seem to have caught onto this and possible puppy-dog eyes from Lang, and have now given us this new trailer which also introduces us to Yellowjacket, Corey Stoll’s character. This is the first time we’ve seen this villain in action and he looks quite cool, and bears a striking resemblance to the Antman suit itself. Marvel has previously awed its audiences with the destruction of New York, of all of Iron Man’s armours, islands and now is ready to take it up a notch with battles over the devastating destruction of toy trains. Seriously, the sudden cut from ensuing epic struggle between Antman and Yellowjacket to the ‘clink’ of a toy train falling down is what won me over in this new trailer. It also promises for a movie that tunes itself to the humor of Paul Rudd. And that’s always a good thing.

Here’s the new trailer for Antman, starring the ever awkward-funny Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly.
